Bliss Card

This beautiful card was copied from Dawn Olchefske's blog. I was at a friends house and saw the beautiful card she was doing at her card class, so I asked her about it. Turns out she saw it on Dawn's blog.  I just loved it, so I tried it in a couple different color combinations and voila!

The red one is the one I offered at my card class. How fun is this card?  A little cutting for the butterfly, plus did you see the rhinestones on it?  A little lace and the beautiful Scallop Trim Border Punch makes this a beautiful card.

I think it looks great no matter what color you make it.

Stampin'Up! Boxes

I know Sale-a-Bation has been going on for a month now, but I did not get any of the special boxes until now.  The orders just arrived for my hostess club tonight.  Look at the cute message on the top of the box.  I just thought that was cute, and sometimes I am easily amused.  You know what?  There were LOTS of fun things in this box too!
Do you have a long wish list of stamping supplies?
Check out my hostess club.
Everyone in my hostess club gets a turn being the hostess.  There is a bonus too!  When it is your turn to be the hostess in my club, you get 20% off your order!  Orders are placed every other month during the club.  Contact me for more information or to get on the list.
Last year I remember there were some cute things on the box, so I should not be surprised by this.  You still have time to take advantage of FREE stamps during Sale-A-Bration.

Embossed Coasters

Here is a fun idea I saw online at a few different blogs.  Sorry I do not know who had this idea, but I love it.  I thought it was so cute I wanted to share this.
This is one of the new Letterpress Plates, so you can add a whole new dimension to your stamping projects.  See Lots of Love Letterpress Plate here.  Or check out all the Letterpress Plates here, under Die Cutting - other Dies.
I used some plain paper coasters I had on hand and ran them through the Big Shot using the Letterpress Plate.  It was that easy!

A Flower For All Seasons Card

Here is a great card I had at my last card class.
I used one of my favorite little stamp sets, A Flower For All Seasons (click to see all four images), along with So Happy For You (SAB product) for the greeting.  The Ice Cream Parlor (Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents Pack) and some Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait card stock.  The double sided paper in the Ice Cream Parlor pack is really fun to use for cards and scrapbooking.  But my favorite thing about this card is using the markers!  I love all the Stampin' Markers that come in every color.  I used an aqua painter for the pot, and sponged around the outside edges of the Whisper White card stock.
Here are 2 other cards using A Flower For All Seasons stamp set.  Isn't the frog cute!
Supplies:  Stamps:  A Flower For All Seasons, So Happy For Your-SAB
Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents Pack
Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait and Whisper White card stock
Classic inks: Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait and Basic Black
Stampin' Markers:
Accessories:  Scallop Edge Punch, Corner Rounder Punch

Here is where I got the idea for this card.  It was a template from this beautiful card my friend Terri Finley made a few years ago.  She used Riding Hood Red, with retired Designer Paper.  Terri was a great person and so much fun.  She passed away last year, and will really be missed!
This was last years Valentine's card, based on Terri's card.  I used the same stamp set, Love You Much, changed up the color to Real Red and used the Designer Series paper Sending Love.  Even though this paper was from last year's catalog it is still available on the Clearance Rack for a great price, $4.99!  Check it out, or contact me with questions.

Valentine Treats

Happy Valentine's Day!  Here is a fun and easy treat to hand out on Valentine's day, or really any time you want to give a bunch of people a little treat.  I made these up for my co-workers so they could have a little something on Valentine's day.  After stamping and punching I just glued them to the top of a peppermint patty.
I used one of the stamps from Circle Circus, Circle Scallop, 1" circle and 3/4" circle punches, and the Feb 14 is from Filled with Love.  Colors:  Whisper White and Real Red.
Enjoy!

More Baby Cards

The other day I posted the one and only l picture I had for the baby cards.  My old, old computer (the one with a working version of Photoshop) decided to crash multiple times, so I could not access the pictures.  Sad, really sad.  I am happy to report, I now have the pictures!  Here are close up's of all 3 of the cards.  If you are looking for easy, but pretty cards, try monochromatic.  A neutral card stock with one color works great, in this case Whisper White and another color.  It wouldn't have to be a baby card either, just think of the fun birthday cards and other occasions you can make.
Bashful Blue
See the Baby Tees Jumbo Wheel here.
These were quick and easy cards to put together.  Just image, any jumbo wheel and some layers of white with another color.  A nice border punch and you are good to go.  For a little more bling add some ribbon and a tag.

See all the Jumbo wheels here.

Pretty in Pink

 Certainly Celery
Here are the supplies you would need to make these cards:
Baby Tees Jumbo Stampin' Wheel          118621   $8.50

Large Tag Punch                                 119876  $15.95
If you wanted to make all three colors, you could buy the Subtles Assorted Smooth Card Stock (20 sheets, 2 each in 10 colors)   119704  $6.95
Otherwise, pick a color and buy a pack of paper (24 sheets) and the matching ink pad.

Plus the Classic Ink pads:
